First of all, I wish you a wonderful year, full of dreams that come true, lots of optimism, love and style.
Looking back on 2012, I realise it was sad, exciting, full of love, worries, happiness, fun, hard work and big changes. This past Christmas and New year’s Eve were the best I’ve ever had, so this year is definitely off to a good start.
Here are my resolutions:
– My boyfriend and I will find a perfect place to call home
– I will take care of my body and health
– I will make a blog post once a week
– I will finish school
Maybe I’ll add new resolutions to the list later this year, but for now this is all I wish for, hope for and work for.
Code Of Style is a blog dedicated to every woman who is trying to find her own personal style.
Unfortunately (or better said luckily) there is no universal law when it comes to style. We all feel comfortable in different clothes, we like different colours, some of us like high heels, others may like big hair or bold accessories. But that is the beauty of it. Each of us can have a unique Code Of Style. And as we grow it can change and grow with us.
Over the last few years I have changed a lot and so has my style. I used to wear jeans, sneakers and hoodies all the time, everywhere, but it didn’t feel like me. I also remember having one pair of medium heel boots I never really liked or felt pretty in and a few other bad shopping choices in my closet. Slowly and unknowingly I started to work towards having a capsule wardrobe and style that is more refined. I have found an inspiration to do so through a variety of blogs, fashion magazines and numerous TV series about style. But I am still learning and I am still guilty of saying ‘I’ve got nothing to wear’ from time to time.
In the future posts we will discuss more about personal style, capsule wardrobe, organising a wardrobe, types of fabrics, current trends and events in fashion and a lot more. I would love to hear from you in the comments section below or you can contact me on my email for any additional questions, ideas or personal style advice.
For all the men out there: You are also very welcome to participate in comments, questions and requests about style.
